In 1998 they jointly acquired and developed a waterfront property on Buck Lake, AB, which became their weekend get-away until 2013 when they made it their permanent retirement residence.ĭoug loved the lake and being retired out there. He apprenticed as a Printer & Lithographer and was employed in the industry for over 40 years operating high-speed four-color presses.ĭoug was briefly married and divorced and lived for many years in the Pineridge community of NE Calgary, where he became a neighbor and best friend to Ken & Joanne Mazurkewich and was an Uncle to their children Heather and Trevor. He was raised in Bridgeland and attended Langevin Elementary School and Crescent Heights High School. Doug was born in Calgary, AB on Novemto Donald Steele MacLean and Mary Alice MacLean.
